Dr. Louise Taber joined Arizona Research Center as Medical Director on May 16, 2011. Dr. Taber is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, a Registered Dietician, Certified Physician Investigator and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and was awarded a Fellowship in the Academy of Physicians in Clinical Research.

 

Taber has investigated over 400 clinical trials specializing in metabolism, obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease and women’s health.  Prior to joining AZRC, Dr. Taber worked with Pivotal Research Centers (subsequently known as Premier Research Group) serving as Principal Investigator in September, 2007 and Medical Director from January 1, 2008 to May 15, 2011.

 

Dr. Taber speaks French and Spanish.

Dr. Meek was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. He completed his undergraduate education at Southern Methodist University, earning a degree in Psychology with a minor in Biology. During this time, he gained valuable clinical research experience as a study coordinator for trials at the VA Hospital in Dallas from 2008 to 2009.

Dr. Meek pursued his medical degree at Texas A&M Health Science Center – College of Medicine, graduating in 2013. Following medical school, he completed residency training in Anesthesiology at The University of Arizona in 2017.

Since 2017, Dr. Meek has provided anesthesia for major surgical procedures and emergent trauma cases at a Level 1 Trauma Center.

Dr. Kadikar was born in Toronto, Canada and earned her medical degree from the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Toronto in 2001, followed by a Pulmonary fellowship at the University of Calgary in 2003.

Since then, Dr. Kadikar has built a distinguished career in Pulmonary and Critical Care medicine in Arizona spanning over 20 years. Throughout that time, she has practiced at several leading hospitals across the state, including St. Joseph's Hospital, Mercy Gilbert Hospital, Chandler Regional Hospital, and Valleywise Hospital, while also serving as an educator for medical students at the University of Arizona - College of Medicine Phoenix. A commitment to teaching has remained a constant throughout her career, extending to residents and medical students at every stage.

More recently, Dr. Kadikar has expanded her work to include rural health clinics and now serves as an investigator at Arizona Research Center, where she contributes her extensive clinical background to our research studies.
