The Arizona Research Center shares its facilities with Valley Surgical Center, and an established podiatry group.
Our 20,000 square foot facility is equipped with 26 exam rooms and 4 dedicated monitor rooms. We have electrocardiography (ECG) machines, radiology and chest X-ray services, and an accredited local laboratory. Our facility includes vital signs monitoring equipment, an American Biotech Laboratory refrigerator, -20C and -70C freezers, ambient temperature and refrigerated centrifuges, and high-speed internet access. We also provide a study-dedicated fax machine, paper medical records, and regulatory-compliant investigational product storage with key pad access for CI, CII, and device compliance. For emergencies, we have a crash cart and emergency resuscitation equipment, and our staff are certified for IATA/hazardous shipping.
We offer long-term storage capabilities for frozen lab samples and documents, ongoing GCP training, 24-hour emergency telephone contact, and secure storage for CRFs and source documents. Our phase I capabilities include both inpatient and outpatient services, supported by 21 in-house research beds and 24-hour inpatient monitoring. All equipment is inspected and calibrated annually, or more frequently if required.
