Dr. Stephen Hempelman graduated from the University of Dayton and then Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine. After an internship at Evanston Hospital he served two years at Holloman Air Force Base as a pediatrician. He then returned to Loyola University Hospital for internal medicine but after one year began a neurology residency. In 1978 Dr. Hempelman moved to Phoenix and practiced in Sun City. In 1993, he joined Arizona Medical Clinic and for several years served on the board and then as president of the board. At various hospitals Dr. Hempelman served as Chairman of Internal Medicine,  Chairman  of Liason Committee between Boswell Hospital and Arizona Medical Clinic, Credentials Committee , and Medical Staff Committee.  Dr. Hempelman earned an MBA in 1998.

 

Dr. Hempelman joined the Arizona Research Family in May 2016.
