This month's Employee spotlight features:

Kelly Chow

1. How long have you worked at Arizona Research Center?

Since December of 2019.

2. What is your role at Arizona Research Center?

Clinical Research Coordinator.

3. Before working at Arizona Research Center, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?

I worked as an Anatomy & Physiology TA at ASU for almost 5 years, it was great fun!

4. What is your favorite part about working at AZRC?

Aiyaya, I have so many favorites! I think my ultimate though would definitely have to be everyone that works here!

5. What would be your dream vacation?

My dream vacation would be a trip to Asia (I have always wanted to visit Thailand, Singapore, South Korea, and Japan)

6. What is one interesting/unique thing that most people would not know about you?

I was born in Hong Kong and hold both Hong Kong and U.S. citizenship!

7. Do you have a go to karaoke song? If so, what is it?

HIT ME BABY ONE MORE TIME haha, I actually think I auditioned for my 1st Grade talent show with this song. Needless to say, I was most fortunately not selected to perform it..

8. When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be a neuro- or cardio- surgeon!

9. What is your best personality trait?

I would say my best personality trait is my willingness to always help and be the best version of myself to everyone!

10. What phrase are you known for at work?

I don’t have a phrase yet, though I think I’m known to do a mini dance a couple times a day (my bunion mates have definitely seen it!).

11. What is the first thing you would buy if you won the lottery?

If I won the lottery, the first thing I would buy is a better house for my parents!

12. What is your biggest pet peeve?

Oy, my BIGGEST pet peeve is when someone wears shoes on the bed…JUST DON’T DO IT!

13. Who’s your celebrity crush?

RYAN GOSLING! But also let’s talk about a young Leo DiCaprio though…

14. What is your favorite movie of all time?

Okay, can we count a series as my favorite because if we can then it is Harry Potter, hands down!

15. What TV show/movie are you ashamed to admit you love?

NI love Property Brothers!
